Functional increased, cell increase in parathyroid gland.
Biological purpose
Increase of parathormone production for enhanced muscle activity.
Symptoms
Enlarged parathyroid gland, goiter with hyperparathyroidism.
PCL phase
Functional normalization. Decomposition of the extra cells by fungi or TB bacteria would be normal. Often, however, the thickenings remain and become encapsulated.
Symptoms
Thyroiditis with of fungi or TB bacteria.
Hanging healing or many relapses: (too) low parathormone level (see also endoderm).
