CA phase

Functional increase, increase of thyroid cells.

Biological purpose

1. Increase thyroid hormone production, increase metabolism.
2. Increase thyroxine: the person becomes faster.

Symptoms

Enlarged thyroid, goiter with hyperthyroidism.

PCL phase

Function normalization. Decomposition of the extra cells by fungi or TB bacteria would be normal. Often, however, the thickenings remain and become encapsulated. In that case, the hyperthyroidism persists.

Symptoms

Thyroiditis with fungi or TBC bacteria.

Hanging healing or many relapses: decrease in thyroid tissue and hypothyroidism (also see endoderm).
